GAPTEC Electronic was founded in 2010 and focuses on market demands and serving the market’s needs. It specializes in isolated and non-isolated voltage transformers (AC-DC, DC-DC, POL and LED drivers), supplying a selected range of converters and modules with typical isolation and industrial voltages as well as currently common terminal pin assignments. The portfolio ranges from 0.01 Watt up to 1,300 Watts (DC-DC) and from 1 Watt up to 1,500 Watts (AC-DC).

ISO 9001:2015 certification, long-standing cooperation between certified manufacturing facilities in Taiwan and China and our development team together with our design engineers guarantees powerful and economical standard and custom-made products. A select product portfolio guarantees highest quality standards (UL62368, UL 60950, EN 50155, UL 60601) and maximum flexibility offering short lead-times at a low cost.

GAPTEC Electronic will continue to extend its product range tailored to the industrial electronics industry while keeping an eye out for new and innovative power-saving products. It guarantees the supply of all fully designed products well beyond the standard product cycle times. When re-ordering products, customers can rest assured that they will obtain a product that is 100% compatible and meets the same quality standard as the previously supplied unit. Any changes to the product design will be announced to customers at least six months in advance. Reliability is key – always.

GAPTEC Electronic introduces the new 5DMSW4_1.5 series

GAPTEC Electronic presents the 5DMSW4_1.5 series, a rugged and compact 5W isolated DC/DC converter solution tailored for performance-critical applications in industrial and communication systems.

With a 4:1 wide input voltage range (covering 9–36VDC or 18–72VDC), this series supports regulated outputs from 3.3V to 24V and features a durable metal enclosure with six-sided shielding. The module delivers 1500VDC isolation and integrates resettable short circuit and overcurrent protection.

The 5DMSW4_1.5 is designed for direct PCB mounting and requires no additional components. It operates reliably in environments ranging from -45°C to +85°C and offers MTBF ≥ 1 million hours, ensuring long-term performance stability.

Fully compliant with RoHS directives, this series is an excellent fit for space-constrained designs requiring robust electrical isolation, high reliability, and simplified integration.

GAPTEC Electronic introduces the new 10S8W4_2.25RP series

GAPTEC Electronic proudly introduces the 10S8W4_2.25RP series, a new high-performance 10W DC/DC converter designed for demanding industrial applications requiring compact size, wide input range, and enhanced protection features.

Housed in a compact SIP8 package, the 10S8W4_2.25RP delivers up to 2.25kVDC of regulated output current with a 4:1 input voltage range. Engineered for energy-conscious systems, this converter achieves up to 88% efficiency and features stand-by power consumption as low as 0.05W.

The module includes integrated protection functions such as input undervoltage protection, continuous short circuit protection with self-recovery, and overcurrent protection, ensuring robust performance and fault tolerance. It operates at a high switching frequency of 450kHz, offering good EMI performance and enabling compact power design in space-constrained environments.

With 2250VDC isolation, an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, and a standardized pin configuration, this converter is an ideal choice for industrial control, distributed power architectures, and instrumentation.

GAPTEC Electronic introduces the new LME78_2.0R / LME78_3.0R series

GAPTEC Electronic announces the launch of the LME78_2.0R and LME78_3.0R families—non-isolated switching regulators optimized for high-efficiency low-voltage conversion in compact electronic systems.

With an ultra-wide input voltage range of up to 7:1, these converters provide exceptional flexibility across various power conditions. The LME78_2.0R supports up to 2A, while the LME78_3.0R handles up to 3A output current. Both versions offer efficiencies up to 96% and come in compact PCB-mountable formats.

Their design follows an industry-standard pinout, requires no external components, and includes short circuit and overcurrent protection. Built into a UL94-V0 flame-retardant housing, these regulators ensure high durability and safety.
